In emergency situations, policies may be temporarily suspended upon a majority vote of the board at a regular or special meeting. This, however, does not apply to any section of policies that may be established by law or by contract.

Individuals or groups wishing an exception or variance in policy shall request such in writing explaining the uniqueness of the situation and specifying the exception or variance requested.

Any policy found to be in conflict with any state or federal law or regulation will be considered null and void.
