Policies
shall be adopted and/or amended only by the affirmative vote of a majority of
the members of the board when such action has been scheduled on the agenda of a
regular or special meeting.
To
permit time for board review and discussion and to provide an opportunity for
interested parties to have input, each policy will have a first reading
at a regular or special meeting, with adoption at a subsequent regular or
special meeting. Amendments made at the adoption meeting will not require
repetition of the sequence unless the board so directs.
