Physical Fitness

Physical Fitness and Physical Education are important aspects of the overall educational experience at VUES.  Each child’s physical well-being is monitored and assessed by the school Nurse and Physical Education teacher.  Listed below are the fitness assessments and areas of fitness in which grades K-6 students are evaluated.  Physical fitness is directly related to improved cognitive function as well as improved health of our students.
